Providencia Neighborhood Free Tour
Free Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll begin this free walking tour of Providencia from inside Café Público, located in the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center.
First, we'll stroll through the picturesque streets of the Lastarria neighborhood towards the Iglesia Vera Cruz, a neoclassical church built in 1857.
Our tour will then continue past the home and studio of Luciano Kulczewski. Are you familiar with the story of this Chilean architect and designer? We'll discuss his life and work, and then continue past the beautiful Bruna Palace and its adjacent Forest Park.
Our steps will then take us to other iconic locations in the area, such as the German Fountain, Baquedano Square, and the bucolic Bustamante Park, one of the main green spaces in the Providencia neighborhood.
Finally, we'll pass through the Barrio Italia and, after about 3 hours, we'll conclude the tour by visiting some of the area's antique shops.
